Queer Crafting Workshop - Let's Make a Bird!

We are excited to announce the first event we have planned for Pride Week!

We'll be donating 50% of all ticket sales to the Rainbow Club, a meeting place for LGBTQ people with developmental

disabilities.

Art and nature lovers, this is for you! Learn how to craft and decorate your very own bird in a friendly LGBTQ social setting.

Your host will be Sommer Ackerman (they/them), a queer birder living in Helsinki. They will talk about the queerness of nature and share their extensive knowledge of birds while helping you to craft your own cardboard bird to take home.

Together we'll get to know the group members, learn something new and have a chilled out, friendly evening with other bird lovers! Bring a friend or come alone and make new ones - we promise a chilled, friendly, LGBTQ social space where you can be yourself 💙
