How much does it cost?

The event is free to attend and tattoo prices start from 70 euros.

Question 2

Do I have to be part of the LGBTQ community to attend?

No! Anyone is welcome to visit us and get tattooed.

Question 3

Do I need to book an appointment?

Accepted Answer

No. You can visit us any time from 12:00 to 18:00 and the tattoos are done on a first come, first served basis. Sometimes there may be a waiting time if the artists are busy, so keep an eye on our social media as we will update it with information about how busy we are. There is a lovely cafe in the building if you want to get a drink or snack while you wait.

Question 4

Can I ask for changes to the designs or bring my own idea?

Small changes to designs are usually fine, this does depend on the artist so feel free to ask us :)
You're also very welcome to bring your own ideas or designs and we'll try our best to accommodate you! If something is too big or complicated, we might not be able to do it at this event, but the artists will be more than happy to book you a longer appointment at their studios instead.

Can I come to ask questions without getting a tattoo?

Absolutely! We're here to make tattooing as accessible as possible, so you are welcome to visit us to ask any questions you might have. There are no stupid questions, you'll be treated respectfully and we'll explain as clearly as we can, with no pressure or commitment to get a tattoo.
We're here to answer questions such as:
"Which tattoo studios are safe for LGBTQ people?"
"Can my scars be covered with a tattoo?"
"Can I be tattooed if I have a specific health condition?"
"Can my old tattoo be covered?"
"What are tattoo studios legally allowed to ask me?"

Question 6

How should I look after my tattoo after I've had it done?

Accepted Answer

We'll apply an adhesive, transparent bandage which should be kept on for a few days, meaning you'll be safe to attend other events and enjoy the rest of Pride week!

Your artist will give you verbal and written aftercare after your tattoo is finished, and you can check out the After Your Tattoo section here for lots of useful information. You're always welcome to send us a message after your appointment if you have any questions or concerns about your tattoo after you go home.

Where can I see what designs will be available on the day?

All of the designs will be added to this page as and when they are finished, so keep an eye out as we'll be adding more! You can also check our social media pages and even message us with design suggestions.

Question 8

What ages can attend the event?

We can only tattoo those over the age of 18, please bring your ID with you. For safety reasons we ask that no one under the age of 12 be brought to the event.

What languages do your artists speak?

Our artists speak Finnish, English and Swedish.

Question 10

What if I'm not sure if I want a tattoo or not?

There is no pressure at all to get a tattoo at the event! You are welcome to visit us to browse through our artwork and merchandise, chat, have a cookie,  and meet the loveliest artists in Helsinki!
