Tattoo convention season has officially started and the first one of the year was Helsinki Ink. Our part-time guest artist, Beany from Secret Society Tattoo, joined us at Kaapelitehdas for the three day convention, which showcases artists from all over the world. We were lucky enough to be booth neighbours with the lovely team from Fist of Needles and also Tattoo Lounge, so it was a nice friendly row of artists!
Scarlet finished a huge watercolour wildcats leg piece for her client Sonja, who was a an absolute trooper and sat getting tattooed all day in front of lots of people - it was great to see it on stage and photographed by so many people. Beany tattooed a gorgeous sphynx cat on our very own resident artist Amanda.
Thank you to everyone who came along to get a tattoo, buy our merch or just to say hi - it was so lovely to see some old faces and meet new friends too. Our next convention will be the awesome 8th International Jyväskylä Tattoo, Rock and Art Festival - this is one we have done nearly every year for the last six years so we're always looking forward to a good party!
